The beginning of the universe                       El comienzo del universo
Is the mother of all things.                             Es la madre de todas las cosas.
Knowing the mother,                                      Conociendo la madre,
one also knows the sons.                                también se conoce a los hijos.
Knowing the sons,                                            Conociendo a los hijos,
yet remaining in touch                                    pero estando en contacto
with the mother,                                                con la madre,
Brings freedom from the fear of death.        Te trae libertad del temor a la muerte.


Keep your mouth shut,                                   Mantener la boca cerrada
Guard the senses,                                         Vigilar los sentidos,
And live is ever full.                                        Y la vida será siempre llena
Open your mouth,                                          Abrir tu boca,
Always be busy,                                               Siempre estar ocupado,
And life is beyond hope.                                Y la vida no tiene remedio


Seeing the small is insight                       Viendo lo pequeño es llegar a comprender
Yielding to force is strength.                            Cediendo a la fuerza es tener fortaleza
Using the outer light,                                       Usando la luz exterior,
return to insight,                                              volver a comprender,
And in this way be saved from harm.           Y de esta manera, te salvas del daño
