9.) EL USO DE LA PALABRA "MIND" y EXPRESIONES

Hay muchas expresiones con la palabra "MIND" - como por ejemplo esta: 

"You´re out of your mind!"  = Estas loco!

"You should sell your old Mini Cooper". Are you out of your mind? That was my father´s.

“MIND” = Importar – se usa como un verbo y también como sustantivo

Cuando se usa “MIND” como verbo, el siguiente verbo tiene que ir en  "GERUNDIO"

Ejemplos:

-I don´t mind driving  = No me importa conducir

-Do you mind eating Chinese food? = ¿Te importa comer comida china?

-We don´t mind taking the train  =  No nos importa coger el tren

-He doesn´t mind cooking today  =  No le importa cocinar hoy

-Do you think she´ll mind coming with me?  = ¿Crees que le importará venir conmigo?

-They don´t mind picking us up at the airport   =  No les importa recogernos en el aeropuerto.

"Mas formal" se usa “Would you mind” = Te importaría

Para formar el pasado, se usa (was y were):

Se usa "WAS" para la primera persona y tercera persona singular (I, HE, SHE)

-You were very tall  = Tu eras muy alto 

- He was in his office  = El estaba en su oficina 

- It was very cheap  = Era muy barato

Para hacer la interrogación se pone antes el verbo ser o estar

Ejemplos:

-Are you Spanish?  = ¿Eres español?

-Is she your girlfriend?  = ¿Es ella tu novia?

-Are they your friends  = ¿Son ellos tus amigos?

-Are you from Canada  = ¿Sois de Canadá?

-Is that your car?  = ¿Es es tu coche?

Para contestar una pregunta, se usa una contestación breve con el verbo ser o estar y no se usa la contracción, EXCEPTO cuando haces una negación

-Are you in Barcelona? No, I´m not  =  ¿Estás en Barcelona? No

Los "PRONOMBRES OBJETO"
Se colocan detrás de una preposición o detrás de un verbo
