1.) Bimba is a four-legged creature from Heaven walking around the house. She´s our dog and we love her very much.
In fact, she´s one more member of the family and we practically take her everywhere we go.
Now she is lying flat on the floor next to my chair in the study.
It´s hot and the cold marble floor cools her body.
She´s a small dog and she has black and white patches. She has a white streak right in the middle of her head ending at her nose.
2.) Bimba is so smart. Who said dogs can´t talk? She speaks dog language very well.

2.) Bimba is so smart. Who said dogs can´t talk? She speaks dog language very well.
Her hair is very soft and her tail is
quite long. When she walks her tail is straight up and fluffy.
It´s really funny to see her walk with her short legs moving her little butt from side to
side.
3.) Bimba is seven years old and we remember the first day when a young couple brought her to us.
She was born May 10th and
she was only three months old.
She was the cutest little puppy we had
ever seen.
In the beginning, we were not sure
about having a dog, but when we saw her it was love at first sight.
4.) For the first night we thought that the best place for her would be to sleep in the kitchen in her own little bed when we all went to sleep....but that was a big mistake.
She was crying all night because she didn´t want
to be alone. The only place she wanted to sleep was on our king
size bed, giving us kisses all night and sleeping at our feet.
When we woke up the next morning, she came close to lick our faces.
When we woke up the next morning, she came close to lick our faces.
Nowadays she takes turns sleeping on every
bed in the house or under our bed in the summer.
5.) For her first summer vacation we took her to a camping which we had gone before and it was right in front of the beach.
It was her first experience sleeping in
a tent. She was the delight of everyone in the camping...but there
was one little problem....she loved to bite people´s ankles, including ours.
In fact, sometimes she behaved like a wild little fox......and besides....she has the same face as one.
6.) We sometimes let her loose to see what would happen. She enjoyed to hide in the bushes around the camping and where it was rather difficult to catch her.
When we tried to get a hold of her she would bite our hands and start to growl and bark in her little voice.
As she was still a puppy, her teeth were very sharp.

As she was still a puppy, her teeth were very sharp.
Bimba liked to run and play in the sand, but she was afraid of the water. That was something she
didn´t understand very well.
7.) One time we were walking along some rocks and there was a pool of water in the sand.
She was running and playing as usual
and didn´t see the pool of water. She fell in, got completely
soaked and jumped out in a flash. She looked like a rat. Since then
she´s always been afraid of water.
She loves to go walking in the countryside
near the village we go to in the summer. Before when she was younger, we let her loose but not anymore.
8.) The last time we let her loose was when we went walking along a path surrounded by olive and almond trees.
As soon as we let her go, she was off
like a bullet chasing after rabbits.
I whistled to make her come back, but she didn´t care. We had to go chasing after her all over the mountain.
At last we were able to catch her after an hour´s time.
At last we were able to catch her after an hour´s time.
9.) When we take her outside in the street she goes berserk as soon as she hears someone on a skateboard.
We have to drag her
as she almost chokes herself pulling to reach the skateboard.
One day the leash will break and all
hell will break loose.
In the winter we take her to the beach and we let her loose where she loves running in the sand.
We have to be careful because sometimes there are people running along the beach.
When she sees a runner, she immediately starts chasing the person and we´re not very sure what
she´s going to do.
Two things usually occur. The runner starts running faster or many times simply stops in his tracks and gives us a really angry look.
10.) Although she´s afraid of the water, she loves to be bathed. In fact, it´s amazing how smart she is!
If we tell her "It´s time for a bath", she heads for the bathroom and jumps into the bathtub.
The only thing she doesn´t understand is when we tell her to shake herself inside the bathtub when we have finished washing her.
She just stands there looking at us for some time and doesn´t do anything.
As soon as we take her out, then she starts shaking like crazy getting everything wet.....including us
