227. Poem - "I´m feeling good"

I´m feeling good
Getting up
Knocking on wood
No aches and pains
Feeling like a pup
Standing on the terrace
Watching the sun come up
The sea in the distance
I can smell its breeze
It´s going to be a nice day
Oh, I´m going to sneeze
It´s time for the morning coffee
What do you want me to say?
I love the smell and taste of coffee
It wakes me up
Only once a day
And all I need is a big cup
Now it´s time for a walk
Along the seashore
There´s no need to talk
Inhaling the seabreeze
To my very core
How wonderful it is to sneeze
Gentle waves cool my feet
You probably think this poem is a bore
But I don´t give a shit

Ahora traducido literalmente al español

Me siento bien
Levantándome
Tocando madera
Me despierta
Solamente una vez al día
Y solo necesito una taza grande
Ahora es el momento para pasear

Por la orilla del mar
No hace falta hablar
Inhalando la brisa del mar
Hasta lo mas profundo de mi ser
Que maravilla estornudar!
Olas tranquilas refrescan mi pies
Probablemente crees que este poema es aburrido
Pero me importa un bledo

226. Dialogos en inglés para el B1 y el B2

Recordar que hay 4 partes de los exámenes B1, B2, C1, C2
1. Reading comprehension
  2. Listening comprehension
3. Writing
  4. Speaking

Por tanto, leer libros en inglés para aprender y recordar vocabulario
Escuchar inglés en podcasts, películas o en la tele.

En la parte oral del examen B1 podrían ser estos temas:

1. Hobbies

2. Holidays

3. Career

4. Home country = pais natal

5. Free time = tiempo libre

6. What kind of food do you like to eat

7. Studies

En el nivel B1, tendrás que hablar en el Presente simple, presente continuo y quizás un poco en el pasado simple para ver si sabéis algunos verbos irregulares

Ejemplo: FREE TIME dialog

Aquí hay algunos dialogos para escuchar

El ultimo dialogo es un B2. Realmente hay muy poca diferencia.

I like this song by Patti Smith singing "Dancing barefoot" = Bailando descalza
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcbuG2w0Kzo

She is benediction
She is addicted to thee
She is the root connection
She is connecting with he
Here I go and I don't know why
I flow so ceaselessly
Could it be he's taking over me
I'm dancing barefoot
Heading for a spin
Some strange music draws me in
It makes me come up like some heroine
She is sublimation
She is the essence of thee
She is concentrating on
He who is chosen by she
Here I go when I don't know why
I spin so ceaselessly
Could it be he's taking over me
I'm dancing barefoot
Heading for a spin
Some strange music drags me in
Makes me come up like some heroine
She is recreation
She intoxicated by thee
She has the slow sensation that
He is levitating with she
Here I go when I don't know why
I spin so ceaselessly
'Til I lose my sense of gravity
I'm dancing barefoot
Heading for a spin
Some strange music draws me in
Makes me come up like some heroine
Oh God I fell for you
Oh God I fell for you
Oh God I fell for you
Oh God I fell for you
Oh God I fell for you
Oh God I fell for you
Oh God I fell for you
Oh God I fell for you
Oh God I fell for you
Oh God I fell for you
Oh God I fell for you

223. "HEAT WAVE"

On Wednesday, May 13th 2015, the temperature in the center of Valencia, Spain reached 50 degrees C. Holy shit!!!

And this was only one day. Imagine if there´s a HEAT WAVE which lasts several days or a week.

How much heat can a human being stand before suffering from heat stroke?
If you live in a warm climate where temperatures can go up very high, people can suffer from hiperthemia.
The normal body temperature for people is 36 or 37 degrees C.
People will suffer from heat stroke when the body temperature is higher than 41 degrees C.

Hiperthermia is a heat related illness. The most severe form of hyperthemia is heat stroke.
This happens when the body can no longer regulate its internal temperature.

The blood seems to boil and the brain says, “It´s so fucking hot”?
Children and people over 65 years old are very vulnerable to this high heat.

If you start feeling dizzy, you get red, disorientated, sweating, the heart starts beating faster, headaches, convulsions, cramps and begin to lose consciousness, you need urgent help.
When you start feeling these symptoms you had better find a cool place with air conditioning, lie down with the legs raised to improve circulation, drink a lot of water, put some cold bags with ice on your head and body.
Avoid going to the beach when the sun is so hot and when you could probably fry on egg on your back.

And of course, don´t do any kind of exercise during the middle of the day when it´s so very hot.
That is simply…looking for trouble.

222. Angels

The word "Angel" means messenger of God.
As messengers of God, they carry prayers and messages between the Creator and the created(us).
Guardian Angels are heavenly spirits which watch over us during our lives.
Angels are pure intellects that don´t have a physical form.
Angels may appear to have gender in artwork, but that is just symbolism which makes it easier for people to think about them.
They have no visible or physical form.
They are beings of divine light.

Everyone has a Guardian Angel.
This angel is always with you since birth.
It protects you in many ways.
It doesn´t matter whether you´re a believer or a skeptic, because the Angels believe in you.
They see your inner light, they know your true talents, and they know you have an important mission in your life.
They want to help you with everything.
People who regularly contact their angels, say they experience a great improvement in their lives.

Here is a true incident that happened 17 years ago.
A three year little old girl was walking ahead of her mother and father to go to the beach.
Her father suddenly realized that a bus was passing along a bus lane very fast.
It was a frightening moment. The father didn´t have time to react because it was happening so fast.
No!!!!!........the father screamed to himself.
But, at the last moment, the little girl simply stopped, as the bus went speeding by.

The father and mother were in complete shock. They were not the same people for a long time after that incident.
They knew deep down that the little girl´s Guardian Angel was watching over her and stopped her from crossing the street and being run over.
Just the thought of what could have happened makes the father and mother need to say a silent prayer to God and the Guardian Angel giving thanks for saving their little girl.

I have read that guardian angels are sometimes confused with spirit guides.
It is a loving being who has lived upon the earth in human form.
This person has received special training in the afterlife about how to become a spirit guide for people.
The spirit guide is there to give you general advice, comfort, and at time times, warning and protection.
Most spirit guides can be deceased loved ones, such as grandparents, beloved friends or parents.
The Torah and the Bible say in Psalm 91:11 that God will command his angels to protect you all the time.

It may be possible to invite angels into your life by praying whenever you are facing a difficult or even dangerous situation.
A lot of people believe that Guardian Angels are especially close to children because children don´t know as much as adults do about how to protect themselves from dangers.
A famous passage in the Bible about children´s guardian angels is in Matthew 18:10.
Jesus Christ tells his disciples, “See that you don not despise one of these little ones.
I say to you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven

In I Corinthians 3:16, the Bible says, “Do you not know your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit?”Therefore, the Holy Spirit within us could very well be our Guardian Angel.
It is The Spirit of God. The Spirit of Life.
So, do you believe in Angels?
