119.) EL USO DE "AIN´T"......UNA PALABRA PECULIAR Y COLOQUIAL

      

    "I ain´t going to pay for that"






AIN´T es una contracción y una palabra coloquial. Se usa para negar el verbo ser /estar y el verbo tener.
Se usa AIN´T mucho en el inglés sureño. También se usa esta palabra en el Reino Unido, especialmente la clase baja trabajadora. 
También se usa AIN´T en el dialecto Cockney y por supuesto en muchas canciones

Ejemplos con el verbo SER / ESTAR:
-I ain´t ready yet (I´m not ready yet)  = Aun no estoy lista
-He ain´t at work today (He isn´t at work today)  = No está en el trabajo hoy
-Ain´t she cute! (Isn´t she cute?)  = No es una monada!
-I ain´t going to Susan´s party (I´m not going to Susan´s party)  = No voy a la fiesta de Susan
-We ain´t hungry (We aren´t hungry) = No tenemos hambre

-She ain´t coming to school today (She isn´t coming to school today)  = No viene al colegio hoy
-My house ain´t as big as yours (My house isn´t as big as yours)  = Mi casa no es tan grande como la tuya
-It ain´t never too late to learn english ( It´s never too late to learn english)  = Nunca es demasiado tarde aprender ingles
-Ain´t you going to the game? (Aren´t you going to the game?)  = ¿No vas al partido?

Ejemplos con el verbo TENER (GOT)
-I ain´t got time (I haven´t got time)  = No tengo tiempo
-Ain´t you got any money saved up? = (Haven´t you got any money saved up?) = ¿No tienes dinero ahorrado?
-They ain´t got no children  (They haven´t got any children)  = No tienen hijos
-We ain´t got a reservation (We haven´t got a reservation)  = No tenemos una reserva
-My nephew ain´t got a job yet (My nephew hasn´t got a job yet)  = Mi sobrino no tiene un trabajo todavía
