201. LA PALABRA "NUT"

La palabra "NUT" 
La "u" en "NUT" y muchas otras palabras, se pronuncian
como la "a" en "lavar"
But / cut / luck / sun / fun / cup / fuck

"NUT" tiene diferentes significados
Si dices:
"I´m a nut" tiene un doble significado: 
Puede ser: Soy un loco / tonto / idiota o "Soy una nuez"

- I´m a nut  = Soy un tonto / imbecil

La palabra coloquial 'nuts' tiene muchos significados. 
Se usa "going + nuts"
-Juan is going nuts. = Juan se está volviendo loco

-I´m going nuts studying for the Mathematics test  = Me estoy volviendo loco estudiando para el examen de mate 

Ahora, si dices:

-"I´m nuts, significa = Estoy loco de remate, chiflado o pirado
- You´re nuts, man = Estás pirado, tío

It´s important to eat nuts. 

The Mayo clinic published a report saying that eating different kinds of nuts is good for  heart. There are three important nuts: Walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, brazil nuts and chestnuts.

Omega-3 will lower the bad cholesterol in your blood, which is the primary cause of heart disease and other illnesses.

It will also reduce the risk of producing blood clots which can cause a fatal heart attack or a brain stroke.

All nuts contain fiber which lowers cholesterol. Nuts also have vitamin E which stops the developent of plaques in your arteries.
New studies in progress shows that Omega-3 may also prevent getting cancer.

Nuts are not expensive. When you are hungry, eating them as a snack is the best thing you can do when you are a little hungry.

Y por último, NUTS tambien significa PELOTAS

-The football hit Juan in the nuts  = La pelota de futbol de dió a Juan en las pelotas
-My nuts hurt  = Me duelen las pelotas / huevos
